What does it do?

The sound set adds hundreds (literally) of sounds to the aircraft. I can't list all of them but they include:

view point and distance depended dynamic sounds
complete, dynamic CFM56 7B engine sounds inside and outside and from far away including dynamic changes in sound depending on airspeed
every knob, dial, switch, button and lever has its original sound.
hydraulic systems, electric systems
packs and recirculation system incl. custom scripting to mimic real behaviour
landing gear, landing / rolling soundscape
dynamic wind
dynamic wind noise from flaps, spoilers, landing gear
bleed air system inside and outside
GWPS
aural warnings and callouts
fire test
FMS sounds
dynamic roll sounds
dynamic turbulence
added features: announcements, passengers chatting (can be turned on and off), passengers boarding
added features: airport ambience (2 sets for regional and international airports)
added features: dynamic rain & wind inside and outside, thunderstorm
added features: custom commands to control airport ambience sets (or OFF), enable the "woodpecker" sound (as soon as AC power is established), passengers' boarding and chatting noises, automatically triggered crew / captain announcements (can be turned OFF), ...

Which milestones are planned or are currently in development?

Long time goal: Custom menu to control most aspects and volumes.

Soon:

long and short GWPS tests and TCAS test (as soon as they are implemented in the simulation, the sounds are already set up).
AI set for the stock 737-800
Simplified version for stock 737-800 (without Zibo's mods).

I installed your package in the default 738 and it sounds great! Just two comments... maybe I am missing something, but I do not get the Morse Code tones when approaching an ILS like I did with the default sounds, and I had alerts programmed with Planemaker for nearing the selected altitude, and the tones do not "sound" when I am nearing that altitude like they did with the default sound pack. Am I doing something wrong, are there "fixes" planned for these 2 areas, or do the creators feel they are not needed. I especially miss the Morse Code tones when approaching a localizer. Maybe there is some problem with the aircraft itself. I get morse tones (they are played by XP11 not the pack) and the alt tritone without fail. My plane version is 2.85 I think. You can also hear those sounds in various videos made with the immersion pack installed.

Overall - amazing work! Can't imagine flying without your soundpack any more!

Just a little remark regarding pax boarding and the safety video.
When I switch on taxi lights, the safety briefing starts, followed by the safety video, which is absolutely nice. But as soon as I turn pax boarding off, the safety video also ends - but both sounds at the same time don't seem realistic. Usually during the safety video (which sometimes is played during pushback), passengers would not be boarding any more. I think this was different in RC B8.

You are right. It is a non permanent compromise to prevent the safety stuff playing when you turn on taxi lights after landing. Next release will have a better solution and more voice acting. The boarding sound volume is currently lowered when you start moving to compensate for what yiu mentioned.

Safely detecting what phase of flight you are in is actually quite tricky.

In the future please use the issue thread to help me getting things organized.

I am truly blown away by this pack. I fly a lot, and this felt like I was in an actual 737-800. As soon as I got in the game, I could tell how big of an improvement this is. Amazing work!

Thank you so much for your efforts to make this audio mod. To me the audio is just as important as the graphics and sometimes even more important.

As for the triggers, after doing a few flights I’ve noticed certain events and light switches trigger certain audio sounds and announcements but I was wondering if there is a list of these triggers so that I know I am hearing everything this audio mod has to offer.
